Photo requirements by country
18 countries reviewed on 14 October 2026. This is a reference for specific passports, ID cards and application routes, not an exhaustive list of every country's documents. Dimensions are width × height. A matching size alone does not establish acceptance.
Language and issuing country are separate. Print dimensions must not be substituted for an online upload specification. Where PicMilo offers a print preset, its pixel dimensions are our 300-DPI output setting, not an official online requirement. Check the linked authority before applying.

PicMilo changes crop, pixel dimensions and maximum JPEG size. The guide is illustrative; it does not detect or certify the actual head position, background, expression, print quality or document eligibility. Official-document presets keep the original background. General photo sizes still allow background removal.
